Where Should Freelancers Work?

Recently I communicated with some other freelancers on ProZ about where they work. And one man inspired me a lot. He said he works everywhere, especially in noisy occasions, including railway stations, airports and even on trains.

I’m confused how he could guarantee power supply or network, but he said it’s not a problem for him. This is a bit too crazy for me, but I came to realize that I shouldn’t be always working at one same location all the time, and this is a major reason why I became more and more depressed as a freelancer in the past one year.

I therefore thought about other matters apart from work location, which could be fine with full-time office workers, but probably not good for freelancers, like the type of music to listen during work, allocation of time, etc.

I wrote about these in a Chinese post titled “Freelancer: don’t fall into the fixed mode of full-time workers”, welcome to use webpage translate tool to read it.
